These Boot Camps, powered by the University of Miami Herbert Business School and Trilogy Education Services, a 2U, Inc. brand, can provide you with the foundational concepts needed to meet the current demands of many growing industries within the field of technology. Whether you are looking to elevate your current career or get in on the ground floor, these programs will provide you with the hard skills, soft skills, and career support needed to hit the ground running in these burgeoning fields.
Part-Time Flexibility: These boot camps were designed for working professionals who are seeking to advance their current careers or change paths. Meeting on evenings and weekends, classes are designed to fit within busy schedules, giving students with full-time jobs and other commitments flexibility while providing opportunities for face-to-face interaction with instructors and peers.
Engaging Curricula: Each program is designed to give students both the knowledge they need to move toward the industry of their dreams and ample hands-on experience applying that knowledge to real-world problems. Throughout the interactive sessions, students will work together with peers on projects to apply the theories, tools, and technologies covered in the boot camp.
Real-World Experience: These programs are designed not only to cover concepts and theory — it puts students to work. Classes will simulate a professional environment, enabling students to work independently and in teams while gaining hands-on practice using their newly-acquired skills. Through a dynamic classroom environment, challenging portfolio projects, and homework reviews from instructors and teaching assistants, students will gain valuable insight into a “day in the life” of a professional in their chosen field.
Career Services: To ensure that students are positioned to be employer-competitive upon graduation, the career services team has conducted conversations with hundreds of hiring managers to find out what employers look for from candidates. Together, you’ll brush up on the tricks and techniques that will give you a competitive edge, perfect your portfolio, build a professional blog to display projects, and prepare for a successful job interview.
