Leilenah Mamea

Leilenah Mamea, who has a bachelor’s degree in economics with an emphasis in finance and math from University of LaVerne, began her career as a financial analyst at Disney. Leilenah was able to make a transition into tech through a fellowship—sponsored by Disney—for a Hackbright Academy software engineering bootcamp, whose instructors conducted the classes at Disney’s offices. Leilenah moved into an associate software engineer job, then to Amazon and PayPal, at higher-level software development positions. Leilenah is a partner in Eave, a tech startup, and will receive her master's degree in computer science with a specialization in human-computer interaction at Stanford University.
