JENNIFER SCHWAB

Founder and CEO

Jennifer Schwab is the Founder and CEO of ENTITY, and she has one goal in mind: to support and empower women through education and mentorship. Her driving force in founding ENTITY was her lack of female mentors in her 20s, leaving her to learn solely through trial and error. Despite this, she was able to build a successful career, which motivated her to pay it forward to the next generation of leaders by providing support early in their career trajectory.

 

After leaving her job as a tax consultant at Ernst & Young to pursue her passions, and co-founding Sierra Club Green Home, a preeminent sustainable lifestyle website, she launched ENTITY in 2016. Since then, she’s built the company to be the first-ever bootcamp education brand dedicated to educating and placing women in 21st century careers with high earning potential and advancement opportunities.

ANGELICA PRONTO

SVP of Operations

As ENTITY's SVP of Operations, Angelica serves as the point of contact for third-party tech integrations, overall student experience, student retention, and career placement, among other duties. She is known throughout the company for always being on duty, and always having the answer no matter how complex the question. Angelica came out of ENTITY’s first Writer’s Collective mentorship program in 2016 and, under the tutelage of Founder/CEO Jennifer Schwab, has since worked her way up from writer to businesswoman. She brings operational knowledge on various aspects of the business, including marketing and media, admissions, technology, and all administrative functions. The bulk of her responsibilities not only involve coordinating with each department head but also managing the integrations between ENTITY’s various tech platforms (i.e. Salesforce, Gravity Forms, Slack, ScheduleOnce, Zapier, etc.). Outside of her operational duties, Angelica is also skilled in marketing/design tools, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.

GENEVIEVE MEYER

VP of Education

Genevieve’s mission is to help talented women find success. A third-year doctoral student In Leadership and Learning in Organizations at Vanderbilt University, Genevieve’s capstone research focuses on the factors that lead to success for talented women in a school of osteopathic medicine. She has been an educator for over 20 years, including 15 years as online faculty in gifted education and talent development at the university level, and is now bringing her talents to ENTITY to analyze the student journey. Genevieve loves conducting research, investigating women’s experiences, and telling stories with data, and partnering with ENTITY is providing her with a unique opportunity to follow her passion in the entrepreneurial setting.

MARIA ROTELLI

Editorial Lead

Maria oversees the building and execution of email newsletters, paid social media strategy, web copy, and anything else related to the written word at ENTITY Academy. She also coordinates the Guest Speaker Series to give current and prospective students the opportunity to network with thought leaders in their industries. On the student experience side, Maria assists with admissions and enrollment, welcoming new students, and acts as the liaison between ENTITY’s hiring partners and ENTITY grads.

STEPHANIE BEDOLLA

Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Stephanie Bedolla is ENTITY's Social Media and Marketing Coordinator. She received her Bachelor's in Journalism from California State University, Northridge. During her journalism training, she discovered that she had a passion for writing and social media. Stephanie spearheads the creation and distribution of social media assets on ENTITY's Facebook and Twitter pages. She also tracks the analytics on these posts to create social media strategies that engage ENTITY's community. She also executes special projects for ENTITY's partner companies, works on email newsletters, and is a member of the student welcome team.

DEVIN MOYA

Senior Technical Mentor for Data Science

Devin is an emerging tech futurist with the utmost passion for all things cutting-edge. Starting his tech career in San Francisco as a Certified Unity Developer and Virtual Reality developer, his work with multiple startups is where he became enamored with the possibilities and future of AI. After pivoting to all things Data Science, he went on to mentor hundreds of Data Science graduates at Woz-U, with mentees who landed jobs at Amazon, Apple, and Facebook. Devin has a BS in Information Systems and Analytics and is currently earning his MS in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Colorado State University.

AYANA LABOSSIERE BURKS

ENTITY Coach

Ayana earned a bachelor's degree in comparative ethnic studies from Columbia University and a master's degree in special education from San Francisco State University. She has spent the last decade as a teacher at the high school level and as an adjunct professor at Saint Mary's University. She also holds a certification in health coaching and life coaching; has led training sessions on curriculum development and stress management for teachers and administrators at a number of schools including Stanford University; and has spoken at a myriad of other colleges, universities, and conferences about the power of self-care.

CHELSEA MYERS

Curriculum Development

After a 10-year career as a biostatistician in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Chelsea Myers left the research world to teach and develop data science curriculum. She has experience working in both traditional academic and bootcamp-style settings, including at Valencia College and Rollins College in the Orlando, FL area, and at Lambda School. Chelsea is currently a Curriculum Engineer at HackerU and the author of the book Project-Based R Companion to Introductory Statistics.

MARK NGUYEN

Curriculum Development

Mark Nguyen is a data professional who has worked in the restaurant, education, and technology industries. He started his career as an Associate Analyst at Taco Bell Corp. after graduating from UCLA. After several promotions, he ended up being responsible for Taco Bell's A/B market test initiative, informing crucial product decisions for Brand Marketing. Upon graduating with his MBA in Strategy in Technology at the University of California, Irvine, Mark pivoted to the education technology industry and moved to Silicon Valley to work at a start-up called Udacity.

 

At Udacity, he taught hundreds of people beginning programming, front-end development, technology entrepreneurship, and data science and data analysis. Then, Mark was given the opportunity to build Chipotle’s Data Science team in the Marketing department. He currently works as Chipotle's Sales Analytics manager.

JACQUELINE GRANT

Compensation Coach

Jacqueline has worked in HR and Recruitment for industry-leading brands including the luxury hotel chain Four Seasons. She has an extensive background in coaching, as such, she spent 2 years at SV Academy coaching newly minted grads on how to package their expertise, nail their interviews, and negotiate fair compensation packages. She holds an undergraduate degree from Western University in Psychology, a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management, and is certified as a professional coach from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. 

In 2020 she founded JVG Strategies: a hybrid coaching and consulting business that provides recruitment consulting services to employers and offers job seekers the resources they need to land their next job or elevate themselves professionally.

TARYN HILLIN

VP of Social

Taryn spearheads the company's digital marketing plan, manages media spend, and uses data and insights to optimize customer acquisition strategy. She has also led the charge in building ENTITY's social following across the company's various platforms, most notably increasing ENTITY's Facebook following to over 1M. Prior to ENTITY, she spent 9 years building a background in entertainment and big media, starting at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), then moving on to TMZ, The Huffington Post, and Fusion.

TIM FISHER

Tim Fisher is a limited partner in March Capital, Trilantic Capital, and Three Ocean partners. Prior to his retirement in 2014, Tim was the Senior Vice President of The Hillman Company, where he is still part of their board of directors. The Hillman Company is a private, family-owned investment firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that manages a broadly diversified global portfolio focused on alternative assets.

SUSAN ROCKEFELLER

Susan Rockefeller is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, artist, and conservationist. She is the founder of Musings (musingsmag.com), a digital magazine that showcases responsible innovation and action for a better world. Susan sits on the boards of Oceana, Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, We Are Family Foundation, Asian Cultural Council, Peggy McGrath Rockefeller Foundation, David Rockefeller Fund, Land and Garden Preserve, and is a Mission Board Member of Imagine. Susan is also Principal of Louverture films and has exec- and co-produced over 20 acclaimed films including Viktor Kossakovsky’s Gunda and Aquarela; Barbara Ettinger’s A Sea Change: Imagine a World Without Fish; and her own film Mission of Mermaids: a love letter to the ocean. Susan is also a member of the Film Committee at MoMA, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the Council on Foreign Relations.

GORDON WANGERS

Gordon Wangers is a marketing executive best known as a specialist in the automotive industry, especially for his work in luxury and high performance car marketing. He founded AMCI (Automotive Marketing Consultants, Inc.) and built it into the industry’s largest experiential marketing firm. AMCI pioneered the consumer comparison ride and drive. This concept was first adopted by Lexus in 1990 and has since become an industry standard. Wangers sold AMCI to Omnicom Media Group for $50 million. He continued as CEO of AMCI and then did M&A work for Omnicom. Wangers has held a variety of board positions, including leading automotive leasing company Donlen (board ended after the company’s sale to Hertz); TEN: The Enthusiast Network (board ended after company’s sale to Discovery Communications); and many others. Gordon also has expertise in identifying/mentoring talented young entrepreneurs and provides them with financing, counsel, and networking to help launch their businesses.
