Saba Soomekh

Dr. Saba Soomekh currently serves as the director of training and education at the American Jewish Committee. Previously, she held roles as the associate director at AJC, associate director of research at UCLA's Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies, and as a professor at California State University Northridge. She earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a master's in theological studies with a focus on religion, politics, and history from Harvard Divinity School, and a doctorate in religious studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
