The Hawthorne Digital Media Analyst supports the larger Digital or Account team in developing and executing reports and analyses to drive client success and impact. They are responsible for ensuring data and reporting integrity throughout the research, implementation, execution and analysis phases of a client engagement. In addition to this responsibility, the analyst will provide strategic insights based on the reports to the internal agency team and clients as appropriate. Our analyst will also play a significant role in developing the cross-channel attribution capabilities of the agency. This role will allow you to be a significant contributor as part of the team, making recommendations when applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as a member of the Digital Media or Account team, performing scheduled and ad hoc analyses as business requirements dictate

  • Develop actionable reporting and analyses for the Digital Media or Account teams using a variety of reporting tools, including media platforms, 1st party response data, etc.

  • Gather data requirements from the media team to be implemented on existing data sources

  • Build reports and dashboards leveraging Excel and Tableau that provide insights into ad campaign performance to help teams make faster and better decisions

  • QC client dashboards to ensure data integrity and proper rendering of results

  • Interpret charts and graphs to identify trends in data and provide insights to the media team

  • Clearly outline the insights of regular and ad hoc reporting for internal teams and external client partners in a presentable format

  • Work with Media team members to achieve client objectives

  • Assists with implementation and maintenance of new and existing digital media campaigns

  • Coordinate on implementation of site pixels, including QC and mapping, for digital media to ensure proper firing and tracking for digital media

  • Create brand- and category-specific competitive analyses for digital media

  • Develop reporting templates and additional analytic or research-based projects

  • Ensure all deadlines are met

  • Complete other duties and projects, as assigned, based on company needs

Role Accountabilities:

  • Data integrity verification, including media platform and 1st party data

  • Coordination with Data Science on data, KPI and initial Tableau setups

  • Scheduled and ad hoc reporting/analyses for client presentations

  • Additional research projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years relevant work experience or a minimum of two years post-high school education with 3+ years related office experience

  • Excellent Excel and reporting skills, Tableau, and SQL experience are desired

  • Strong analytical skills (ability to identify risks and escalate issues)

  • Digital analytics experience (site analytics, media projections, results, etc.)

  • Experience with marketing KPIs (CPC, CTR, PPC, etc.)

  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to prioritize
