Why We Like These Courses
ENTITY Academy is on a mission to be the go-to source for all things career advancement for women. We strategically partner with other programs to make sure female professionals of all ages and backgrounds are able to find curricula so they can upskill and reskill for the 21st century workforce.
These virtual Boot Camps, powered by Trilogy Education Services, a 2U, Inc. brand, help support ambitious career women in advancing their skills and preparing them to become innovative leaders in their fields. Here are just a few of the reasons why we like these courses.
Part-Time Flexibility: These boot camps were designed for working professionals who are seeking to advance their current careers or change paths. Meeting on evenings and weekends, classes are designed to fit within busy schedules, giving students with full-time jobs and other commitments flexibility while providing opportunities for face-to-face interaction with instructors and peers.
Engaging Curriculums: Students will obtain marketable skills and learn the fundamentals of each industry. The interactive live classes are structured to allow students to work together with peers on projects while being supported in real-time by instructional staff with relevant industry experience.
Hands-On Experience: These programs are designed not only to cover important concepts and theories of each subject – they put students to work. Classes will simulate a professional environment, enabling students to work independently and in teams while gaining hands-on practice using their newly-acquired skills. Through a dynamic classroom environment, challenging portfolio projects, and homework reviews from instructors and teaching assistants, students will gain valuable insight into a “day in the life” of field professionals.
Career Services: Students also benefit from the support of a dedicated career service team that will prepare them to be “employer competitive” through a series of career readiness milestones throughout the boot camps. Receive individualized feedback on your resume and portfolio, undergo mock interviews, get guidance throughout the job search process, and meet 1:1 to strategize about your next steps after completing the program.
"I needed to learn new skills as I wanted to pivot my background in software engineering and utilize it in a new way. After working with a career counselor, I learned that I wanted to work in cyber. The impact is that it led me to a position where I can utilize my engineering skills with Python in the Cyber Security field and, hopefully, be more fulfilled professionally. It has also changed my work ethic so that I am more motivated to stay current with technology."
BRUCE R. | CYBERSECURITY STUDENT
"I already had some experience with Python and ML, but I attended the boot camp to build a wide variety of technical skills. It was perfect for this. I feel more confident taking on new projects and expanding my responsibilities at work."
JASON D. | DATA ANALYTICS STUDENT
