Kathy Perez

Kathy Perez started in TV as a teenager in high school and worked at the Los Angeles Unified School District’s TV station for two years. Kathy moved to KMEX in LA where she was a stage manager, associate director, master control director, and finally show director. She then went to Univision where she worked in Spanish-language media for 10 years in Los Angeles and Miami. Kathy then worked at KTTV Fox 11 for 21 years, directing their 10 pm newscast. For the last 13 years she has worked for ESPN primarily working on NBA broadcasts. Kathy is the recipient of Emmy, Peabody, and duPont-Columbia awards.
