Rose Freeland

Rose Freeland was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and moved to California to attend Art Center College of Design and graduated with a BFA with Distinction. Rose created a clothing line and as an illustration and design business through Big Concepts, Inc. she obtained an MFA from California Institute of the Arts while running her company to support her practice. She created investigative works, such “The Illustrated History of Women” that consisted of digitally produced billboard-sized canvases featuring a history of desired achievements. Rose’s fine art work has been in multiple solo and group shows thereafter.
