The Purlisse and YENSA Beauty team is looking for a strong marketer to assist with creating and executing their digital marketing, retail, livestreaming, and TV strategy.

The marketing manager will be in charge of managing marketing channels across their website, emails, SMS, customer journey, loyalty program, subscription services, and livestreaming. The individual will also assist with helping build out their retail marketing strategy – through digital, in-store, and TV launch programs. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, is self-motivated, collaborative, and is a goal-oriented individual who can use their experience and knowledge to perfect and grow their processes. This person should also thrive in a fast-paced environment and be eager to learn and support the tactical needs of their fast-growing brands!

TITLE: Marketing Manager

  • Oversee the day-to-day implementation of 360-degree marketing initiatives through channels like digital marketing, retail, TV, and livestreaming for product launches, promotions, holidays, etc.

  • Manage email marketing calendar and distribution lists with the ability to segment and promote to intended targeted audiences

  • Manage third-party paid advertising team to make sure goals are being met

  • Approve budgets for events, influencer marketing, etc.

  • Collaborate with teams to develop creative marketing campaigns i.e., coordinate with social, performance, e-commerce, and brand teams to plan/coordinate assets for print, direct mail, website, email, SMS, retail channels, TV, and events

  • Merchandise the website and retailers, organize updates, manage e-commerce strategy and their TV business

  • Grow the subscription business model and their loyalty program and all the customer touchpoints

  • Own and regularly update detailed project calendars, timelines, status documents, reports, release schedules, and other deliverables with internal and external teams

  • Brainstorm and communicate new ideas to increase customer engagement, loyalty, product innovation, and overall marketing experience

  • Stay updated on new marketing trends and vet their relevance to their brands; suggest ideas for new platforms, strategies, and ways to streamline their overall marketing strategy

  • Manage industry trade show planning, exhibiting an overall successful marketing strategy

  • Work closely with operations teams to strategize retailer promotions, schedule cross-promotion on their channels, and create marketing decks to present


  • At least five to seven years of marketing, e-commerce experience, retail, and knowledge of TV and livestream selling

  • Experience working in an ESP or CRM tool

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

  • Ability to keep updated on trends and developments of emerging technologies, new retail concepts, livestreaming, and retailers

  • Detail oriented, dependable, and organized with strong project management skills

  • Able to pivot to the tactical needs of a growing brand

  • High EQ and a "no job too small" startup mindset

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Basic knowledge of paid search and paid social, analytics, Klaviyo, and Shopify

  • Digital fluency — understanding of content management systems, online survey-building tools, email marketing, referral, and social platforms

  • Must be able to multitask and be able to work under pressure

  • Must be able to work and communicate with social media, marketing, retail, PR, TV, and operations teams

  • Must be flexible, proactive, and a self-starter

  • Must be good at problem-solving with unforeseen tasks

  • Must have strong attention to detail

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be creative

  • Design experience is a plus
