Job description:

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to help the organization make data-driven decisions

  • Implement standard methodologies and best practices to ensure data model and dashboard design consistency across all reporting projects

  • Work with business and cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs

  • Lead development, enhancement, and production support activities by working with various partners (business users, implementation partners, production support team)

  • Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards

  • Provide technical assistance and cross-training to business and internal team members

  • Collaborate with business partners for continuous improvement opportunities

  • Stay up to date on the latest data and analytics trends, processes, and IT advancements to automate, modernize, and optimize systems

Qualifications:

  • Five+ years of experience working with data warehouses

  • Five+ years of hands-on experience building self-service datasets, reports, and custom dashboards

  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent with at least eight years of experience in designing and developing semantic layer (datasets) reports and dashboards

  • Experience working in consumer products, food, and beverage industries is preferred

  • Proven versatility across multiple technologies, applications, and industries with the ability to design, estimate, propose, build, and document enterprise-class architecture solutions and systems in complex environments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in technical documentation and the ability to communicate with senior business managers and executives

  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and handle multiple project administration responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, and deploy Business Intelligence solutions as per business requirements

  • Understand business requirements in the Business Intelligence context and design efficient data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights

  • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling

  • Develop interactive visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Business Intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau

  • Develop complex calculated columns and measures using DAX and Power Query

  • Experience in Tabular performance monitoring and query optimization, with a strong understanding of the Vertipaq engine and/or DAX studio

  • Experience building, deploying, and supporting applications on Cloud platforms such as Azure Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)

  • Proficient in writing SQL to extract data from data warehouses and build complex data models

  • Experience with MLOps and DataOps tooling (Azure ML, Google Vertex AI) is a plus

  • Experience working with analytics and statistical software and products, such as SQL, R, Python, and others to perform analysis and interpret data is a plus

  • Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or Oracle ADW is a plus

  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS/Fusion, Microsoft Dynamix, or SAP is a plus

  • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless the candidate has a legally valid exemption
